Applications are now open for the 2025 International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Young Leaders Collective. The International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) is seeking its next cohort to join the Young
Leaders Collective. IFAC seek insights and perspectives from early career and aspiring professional
accountants with less than five years of work experience on some of the biggest challenges and
opportunities facing our profession. Gain exposure to some of IFAC’s most important initiatives,
including technology, artificial intelligence, and attracting and retaining talent.

- Gain valuable international exposure by working with an organization that works to make the accountancy profession truly global, as well as connecting with your peers from around the world.
- Deepen your understanding of the crucial issues the profession faces, such as the effects of AI and
technology on the profession, and the value accountants bring to societies and economies
Commitment
- One year of voluntary service, with the possibility of a one-year renewal.
- Participating in four two-hour virtual meetings per year and optional participation in working groups.
- Preparing for meetings, which may include reviewing meeting papers, consulting with your peers, and conducting your own informal research.
- Potentially representing the Collective in other IFAC forums.
- MINIMUM TIME COMMITMENT: 30-40 HOURS PER YEAR

- Record and upload a 60 second audio/video explaining why you’re passionate about accountancy and joining the Collective.
- Upload a letter of recommendation from a non-family member. The letter can be from professional, academic, or volunteer connections. Preference will be given to applications with a letter of recommendation from an IFAC member organization, IFAC network partner, or Forum of Firms member.
